Here are the three main things iBuyers consider when looking for houses.
What criteria do iBuyers (or instant buyers) use when considering whether to buy a house? These are the three things to think about if you’re planning to sell to an iBuyer:
1. Price. Price is crucial for iBuyers; they’re looking for a price that will give them good market activity. In San Antonio, that usually means properties under $400,000, though that could increase in the future.
2. Condition. iBuyers don’t want much risk, so they’re looking for homes in moderately good condition.
3. Easy purchase. They don’t want a house that’s going to be a challenge. If something makes the home unusual or there’s not much movement in that area, you aren’t likely to get an iBuyer offer. If they do make an offer, it’ll be much lower than you’d hoped.
We now specialize in working with iBuyers, so if you have any questions about them or real estate in general, please give us a call or send an email. We’d love to help you.
