Here’s where your business should be in its second to fifth years.
Hopefully, you’ve had a great first two years in the real estate business. If you’ve made it through 24 months of being a full-time agent, the good news is that the next few years will be much easier. If you sound good, you’re competent, and you know your craft, you’re on the right path. If you’re two years into the business and don’t have good marketing, content, and a strong voice, you need to get it corrected quickly.
“When you start perfecting things, that’s when real estate gets fun.”
Another thing to focus on in years two through five is your database. Having good relationships with past clients and referrals is very important to the future success of your business.
It’s also time to take things to the next level. In years three, four, and five, I think agents should easily be making six figures. It’s all about getting the inefficiencies tweaked out and honing your craft. That’s when you start perfecting things and real estate more gets fun.
If you have any questions for me about where you should be at years two through five of your real estate career, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
